Recently the Bill’s have signed T.O. the former Dallas Stars wide receiver to a one-year nine million dollar contract. This act by the Bills has led to many people talking on how having T.O. will affect the AFC East. According to the Buffalo Bills home page which is the link above, he will be making many radio appearances on 103.3 the Edge with Shred and Ragan, and also on 97.7 the Rock on his opinion of his up coming season in Buffalo.

Sportscaster Jimmy Cefalo has stated that having the addition of T.O. and also having Lee Evans and Marshawn Lynch in the backfield will create a “nightmare to any opposing defenses of the Bills”. With Dick Jauron as head coach in Buffalo, their record has been a depressing 21-27 over the past three years. The Bills needed to take this gamble in order to increase their record this year to at least 500, (which is winning more then you lose for those of you who do not know.)

However Terrell Owens has been considered a cancer to the locker room of his past teams, I think the Bills need someone like him to come along to step up their game. T.O. has had many successful years while with the San Francisco 49′ers, The Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys, but he has also had many confrontationswith his teammates of those teams. In some cases it has resulted in him becoming suspended from the team for a period of time. I think this is just so he can make a name for himself, and make him look like a bad ass wide receiver.

The Buffalo Bills have recently never had a big name star like T.O. in a while. By gaining another top wide receiver like Owens, the opposing defenses of the Bills will have to re-think their game plan. The combination of Lee Evans and Terrell Owens will allow the Bills to a great passing offense. Some people think Owens will bring Buffalo down, but its the gamble that we in fact desperately need to take. We need someone like T.O. to have a shot at the playoffs this up coming year, and hopefully he will help us get there.

HOCKEY

In the great sport of hockey there is many talented players through out the entire NHL. But you don’t have to to be talented to have fans cheering for you. My favorite player would have to be Maxim Afinogenov on the Buffalo Sabres. peopl might not agree with me when i say he is one of the top hockey players in the NHL because he doesn’t produce as many points as those top guys. They would also say that he’s to crazy when he gets the puck and always tries to much. But I say thats where he shows his talent, I mean all the great hockey players get stopped while bringing the puck across the blue line into the other teams end. He’s a very shifty player who could sometimes turn the defensemen inside then back out all in one move. Yea thats where he usually loses the puck to a defensemen because he usually pulls the same move half the time. On the other hand theres times where hes making that defensemen look stupid infront of thousands of fans. But last year he didn’t produce many points because of a injury where he came back at the end of the season. This year he doesn’t have many points because of being on the 4th line. Now im not saying that the guys he’s with are not good its just they are usually the body guys who go for hits more than goals. So for someone to either produce goals or even assists is hard to do with the guys lookin to make to big hit of the game. Yea those big hits also known as the caruba collison are exciting but producing goals on a goalie in my opinion is more entertaining than attempts to the big hit. So i want to just prodict that if Afinogenov moves up in the line up to guys who look for those goal opportunities.

Our new president, Our countrys first black president. Will he succeed or will he fail. No one will no until he is really in office. He says he is going to make change or will he really. Was he just saying all that to win or will he make change. I hope he does fine and brings our country out of there worst debt ever. He also was for legalizing marijuana for medical puroposes. I think that will definantly help with our debt. Also I think this is the first election were african Americans actually had a good vote turnout. Im not trying to be raceist but black people now think they are better than others just because our presidents black. I think they are going to think they have more freedom and are above the law because of this. Barak also wants to pull are troops out of iraq, wich would be amazing but i dont no if he will be able to do that. He has alot on his plate there has already been an assisination caught in the making and he has to pull us out of are tramendous debt. I hope he creates more job opritunities and sticks with his health care plan. That would be awsome for everyone we need all the help we can get, this country is scared we might go into another deppression. Well im excited to see what he will do hope he does fine. I hope America did not make a mistake on making him our president.

You know i f!@#$in hate blogging i have been sitting in front of this computer for like 20 minutes and i cant think of anything to write. Seriously the whole concept of blogging is f!@#$in stupid, why would anyone want to just sit and type their problems on the computer and then publish them so people can comment about how sad your problems really are. Sure people say it gives you a voice and crap like that, but you can have the best voice in the world and it wont mean shit if nones listening. you got a problem do something about it dont just whine and bitch. People in this world need to relize that you cant spend your whole life sitting in front of a computer screen, well you can if you want to i dont give a shit but it is very unhealthy. The world needs to come out from behind their computers and start talking to people by themselves. More and more ive seen kids revolving their whole lives around video games, hell I know a few kids who skip school just so they can go home and play world of warcraft, its riddiculus. I like the occasional videogame to but damn i’ll play once or twice a week not twenty four seven, like some kids (my older brother being one of them).

Now that I have filled you in on the general facts about the use of Marijuana and how it effects you, we can go into the facts concerning the on going debate about the legalization of Marijuana. It is my personal opinion that in the United States and all over the world people should be able to use Marijuana anyway they see fit. Though you should not take my word for it, this is a very complicated and morally charged issue so be sure that you make your own decision and take all the facts into account. Let’s start out with reasons why people do not want to legalize Marijuana. These facts are from an essay to lobby against the passing of a bill to legalize Marijuana. They say that Marijuana users have 55% more industrial accidents than non-users and have been shown to have a 78% increase in absenteeism over non-users. Also workers who tested positive for marijuana use had disciplinary problems at work 64% more often than workers who test negative for marijuana. Accident records from one study showed that up to 12% of non-fatally injured drivers and up to 16% of fatally injured drivers had marijuana in their bloodstream when tested after causing car accidents. According to this lobby group smoking a Blunt (marijuana cigar) deposits about three to five times more tar into the lungs than one filtered Tobacco cigarette. Smoking three to four joints (marijuana cigarettes) per day causes as much harm to the respiratory system as smoking a full pack of cigarettes a day. Marijuana smoke is said to contain 50 to 70 percent more carcinogenic hydrocarbons (The chemicals that have been found to cause cancer in cells) than tobacco smoke. They say that the legalization of marijuana for adults will increase use by minors. When Alaska permitted the private use of marijuana, use among children rose rapidly reaching twice the national average. A Canadian study found that the country’s liberal marijuana policies have resulted in Canadian youth topping all other nations for frequent use of marijuana. Canadian researchers say the increased use is due to the affordability, availability and acceptability of the drug.

After marijuana became legal and sold in smoke shops in the Netherlands, use nearly tripled among 18 to 20 year olds. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Managers Supervisors Association, the Las Vegas Police Protective Association Metro and the Nevada Sheriffs’ and Chiefs’ Association, believe the criminals selling the drug illegally now won’t be out of business, they will most likely increase business to get more underage kids to start. Nationwide, Marijuana was involved in more than 215,000 emergency room visits greatly impacting the already stressed emergency medical system (just thought i would say this so this post isnt completely one sided that if Marijuana is legalized and people are informed about safe and responsible use, just like they are alcohol, that number would be greatly reduced). Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannibinol (THC) that is the technical name for the psychoactive chemical in the Cannabis Sativa plant; a plant more commonly known as marijuana, weed, or pot. This plant, and that is all it is a plant, has many uses; its stems are used to make ropes and twine more commonly known as hemp rope. That is all you are legally allowed to do with the Cannabis Sativa plant in the united state’s make ropes and twines. Though it is not all it is actually used for, the leaves and flower buds of the Cannabis Sativa plant (usually from the female due to the increased potency of THC over the male’s buds and leaves) can also be used for medical and recreational purposes. The ingestion and/or inhalation of THC will in most cases will induce a euphoric state of mind (usually referred to as a ”high”) that in the medicinal use of the illicit herb is an effective painkiller, which can help relieve or temporarily remove pain caused by some disease’s and cancer’s that even the most powerful Narcotics in the world cant treat. The use of medical Marijuana in it’s crude(the most common form of the drug which is the basic leaves and buds, the crude form is usually only 5% to 15% pure THC, very rarely does it reach 20% purity, the rest is just organic matter and various inactive chemicals, a total of 479 chemicals to be exact) and cannabidiol(a concentrated chemical form of marijuana which is up to 40% pure THC) are currently permitted for legal doctor prescribed medical use in California, and Arizona. The recreational use of Marijuana is not much different than the medical use in a way, though the purpose for use may be much more selfish. Once the illegal Marijuana is obtained the user will in most cases ignite the dried leaves and flower buds which releases smoke that is saturated with the activated Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannibinol, the THC laden smoke is then inhaled and the THC is released into the blood stream. Contrary to popular belief the THC is not what get’s you high(the word “high” when used in the sence pertaining to a drug induced mindstate can be used as a verb; as in the statement “lets get high” to referance the action of using THC to induce the euphoric feeling associated with the not yet (I stress yet) legal drug. Or as an adjective; such as in the phrase “im high” or “are you high” to describe the euphoric feeling from use of THC.), it is actually the Anti-bodies your own body produces to help fight the alien THC molecules in your blood stream that creates the “high” one feels after the use of illegal Marijuana in any of its forms. The above post I wrote is intended to give you a little dose of information(no pun intended) about the Cannibis Sativa plant’s already legal and currently illegal uses and effects so that you are properly informed and ready to make the desicion of whether or whether not to legalize marijuana for medical and recreational use in the United States.
